TitleKatikati's second pioneer storeDescriptionThe new pioneer store on the bank of the Uretara Stream. It was built about 1909 by Mr Noble Johnston. The orginal pioneer store can be seen to the reare of the new store at the right of the photo. The stores were a focal point of the district for many years.The pioneer store was eventually taken over by the FArmers Trading Company.
