BiographyTe Mete Raukawa was a chief of the Ngati Hangarau hapu, of the Ngati Ranginui Iwi based at Bethlehem, near Tauranga.

He was a Maori Kings Councillor and would accompany Potaua Tangitu, a chief of the Pirirakau hapu, to meetings at the Maori Parliament House in Morrinsville. Last edited by: Sandra Haigh
